Bush of Ghosts reissue on vinyl |

The remastered 2006 version of the David Byrne/Brian Eno album "My Life is the Bush of Ghosts" is due out for release on double vinyl early next year. The tracklist is yet unconfirmed, so if the bonus tracks from the CD or any remixes from the website are included is unknown. |

David Byrne recorded vocals for the song "Toe Jam" for The BPA (British Port Authority), a new project by British DJ Fatboy Slim, earlier this year. The BPA launched a remix competition for "Toe Jam": make your own remix of the song for a chance to win a pair of Technics RP-DH1200 Headphones, Fatboy Slim's catalog on vinyl and the chance to have your remix released as a digital EP along with an official remix of "Toe Jam."  Last year, Tom Tom Club released a special christmas single called "Mistletunes" featuring the tracks "Chrismas in the Club" and "Il Est Ne". The single, released on both 4-track CD and multicoloured 2-track vinyl, has been for sale exclusively on the Tom Tom Club website and selected record stores.

On-line bootleg archive Wolfgang's Vault launched an iPhone application for on-demand listening to concert recordings. The archive includes some Talking Heads concerts, a Tom Tom Club show and a few David Byrne interviews. If you're reading this on your iPhone, here's the direct link to the app. |

DVD "Live in Rome" announced |

 German label Intergroove announced the upcoming release of a brand new Talking Heads DVD, "Live in Rome" for November (originally Nov 10 was mentioned as release date, but the release has been postponed for two weeks). The DVD contains the original Rai Uno recording of the Talking Heads show recorded in Rome in 1980 as part of the "Remain in Light" tour. The band line-up included Adrian Belew and Nona Hendrix. So far, only a region 2 coded DVD has been announced, so only playable in Europe and Japan (although it might be region free - stay tuned!).
"Live in Rome" is available from the official talking-heads.net webshop.

Ten years after the ultra-limited release of the David Byrne live bootleg "Stop Wearing Suits", the 2CD set re-surfaced in enhanced and downloadable form. According to the original bootleggers "Stop Wearing Suits - the 10th anniversary edition" brings you a larger-than-live David Byrne experience, complete with original noise and tape hiss". Besides a complete live performance of the"Feelings" tour, the set also include recordings of a soundcheck and some bonus tracks reocrded during shows of the same tour.
